Welcome to RB Racing Events. As the official sanctioning body for this race, our primary objective is to deliver a highly competitive, fair, and professional sim racing experience. This document serves as the absolute governing rule set for the event. By entering an RB Racing Events hosted session, all drivers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to strictly abide by the regulations outlined below. Race Control reserves the right to enforce these rules with zero tolerance to ensure the integrity of the competition.

01Pre-Race & Technical Regulations▾
1.1 Vehicle & Pit Sign Liveries — All drivers must utilize appropriate paint schemes on their cars and pit signs. Liveries depicting politics, drugs, religion, or sexually related material are strictly prohibited.
1.2 Connection & Blinking — Drivers experiencing server connection issues (blinking) that negatively impact others will receive a warning from Race Control.
  • If the issue continues, a drive-through penalty will be issued to allow time to resolve it.
  • If the blinking persists after the drive-through, the driver will be disqualified (DQ) from the event.
1.3 Incident Limits — Accumulating 8 incident points will result in a drive-through penalty. Accumulating 12 incident points will result in immediate disqualification (DQ) from the event.
02Registration, Entry Fees & Payouts▾
2.1 Registration & Finalization — Official registration closes 48 hours prior to the event. An entry is not considered finalized until the entry fee has been paid in full and the official registration Google Form has been submitted. If spots remain available after registration closing, filling those entries will be strictly at the discretion of the Event Director.
2.2 League Access — In order to have access to the race session, all approved drivers must enter the "RB Special Events" league within the iRacing platform.
2.3 Entry Fees — All entry fees are non-refundable. If a driver is unable to attend the event, they forfeit their entry fee.
2.4 Replacement Drivers — If an entrant is unable to compete, they may add a replacement driver to take their spot. This change must be submitted and finalized no later than 48 hours prior to the event.
2.5 Monetary Payouts — All prize money will be paid out to the respective winners within 48 hours following the conclusion of the event.
2.6 Physical Prizes — Any physical prizes won during the event will be shipped out within 10 days of the event date. Tracking information will be provided directly to the winner upon shipment.
03Qualifying & Grid▾
3.1 Mandatory Qualifying — All drivers are required to complete a qualifying run. Qualifying will consist of 2 laps under the highest scrutiny level.
3.2 Failure to Qualify — Drivers who fail to complete a qualifying run will be issued a drive-through penalty at the start of the race.
3.3 Grid Adjustments — End of Line (EOL) requests will not be granted or provided at the beginning of the race.
04Starts & Restarts▾
4.1 Leader Lane Choice — The race leader has lane choice for restarts. The leader must explicitly call out their lane choice prior to crossing the start/finish line for the "1 to go" signal. If no call is made, the leader will default to the iRacing designated lane.
4.2 Pace Formation — At the start of the race and on all subsequent restarts, drivers are required to tightly bunch up for the green flag. Laying back is strictly prohibited.

4.3 Lane Maintenance — Drivers must maintain their designated lane and are prohibited from changing lanes prior to crossing the start/finish line.

05Cautions, Incidents & Race Control▾
5.1 Caution Initiation — All cautions will be initiated by either the iRacing system or Race Control. Race Control reserves the right to extend any caution period at their discretion.
5.2 Single-Car Spins — Any single-car spin that does not trigger an automatic iRacing caution will remain under green flag conditions unless Race Control deems it a hazard to the broader field.
5.3 At-Fault Incidents — All race incidents resulting in a yellow flag will be reviewed by Race Control to assign fault.
  • 1st & 2nd Offense: EOL for the upcoming restart
  • 3rd Offense: Drive-through penalty
  • 4th Offense: Disqualification (DQ)
5.4 Racing Incidents — If an event is reviewed and deemed a "Racing Incident," no penalties will be issued to any involved parties.
5.5 Intentional Wrecking — Deliberate or intentional wrecking of another driver is unacceptable under any circumstance and will result in an immediate DQ at Race Control's discretion.
5.6 Heavy Damage — Drivers who sustain heavy damage in an incident are expected to proactively request an EOL or a tow to assist Race Control in managing the field.
06Black Flags▾
6.1 Clearing Protocol — Clearing of black flags is strictly at the discretion of Race Control. Clearances will be kept to a minimum and heavily reviewed.
6.2 Requesting a Clear — Drivers requesting a cleared black flag must provide immediate justification to Race Control.
6.3 Acceptable Justifications — Passing a slow or damaged car under a yellow flag, or changing lanes to avoid a wreck on a restart (subject to Race Control review).
6.4 Restart Zones — Black flags incurred within the designated Restart Zone will not be cleared.
07Conduct & Communications▾
7.1 Radio Discipline — All drivers must keep the radio channel clear of non-race-related chatter.
7.2 Spotters — Drivers may utilize a live spotter during the event at their own discretion.
7.3 Professionalism — Obscene, abusive, threatening, bullying, or harassing language — including name-calling via radio or private message — will not be tolerated. Drivers must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.

7.4 Race Control Authority — Race Control is in place to ensure a fair, unbiased event. No driver may dispute a decision made by Race Control.
